The assignment for this project was to make our own Lyrical Triptych. We were told we needed to pick any lyrics we desired and pick three picture or more to design our three panels. The images had to match with the lyrics. The steps we took to create our lyrical triptych was first open up Photoshop and open three panels and save as Lyrical Triptych. Once we had the lyrics we wanted we had open up images that would our lyrics. Then we had to type the lyrics on the three panels. We had to be creative using the magic wand also using filter.
My Triptych were done in gloomy colors like gray and a little red within. The images were nature and images of broken hearts to capture the loneliness of what left when someone was gone. The song I chose was breakeven by The Script. My finished work looks like a slide show you would post on youtube for a lyric song. The Adobe Photoshop tools I used was the magic wand and polygon cutting. Also the tying font. The way I used the filter was by clicking on each randomly and see what came up. If I liked it I stayed with it same to the adjustments.
The way that I created my images to reflect the lyrics for my song was use to darken my images and add little images such as a broken heart. And take images that seem sad like dark sky a lifeless tree. The way I created a feeling for my work was to capture moments that seem helpless the dark colors did the work and the broken heart.
My experience in working with Adobe Photoshop this year was very new to me Ive barley have used Photoshop in my life so it was kind of hard to figure out what to use without asking for help every time. I kind of liked it not fully but kind of. Because I had trouble on some of the things.
